Hello cuties, welcome to Ripe Vintage!

After lockdown 1.0 hit I decided to set up a Depop account and sell all of the crazy vintage clothes that I had collected throughout my college years. This was heaps of fun and a huge success so I decided to take the plunge and order my first wholesale order in Summer 2020 and haven’t looked back since! With a wine-fuelled brainstorming session with my girlos the name ‘Ripe’ just felt right.

I made an Instagram and with much support from friends and followers Ripe Vintage was born.

About Me

Hi guys, my name is Val!

I’ve always had a passion for vintage fashion, even from a young age. My nanny and Mam both volunteered in charity shops when I was growing up which influenced my love for second-hand clothes, finding bargains, and spending hours sourcing amazing vintage gems!

After spending a few years in the busy TV industry I decided that it was time for me to focus on myself and invest my energy into something that I truly love – vintage clothes. I decided to set up an online vintage shop selling curated vintage clothing called Ripe Vintage.

I wholeheartedly wanted to create a beautiful feel-good Instagram for my followers to enjoy and a place where they can see the pieces styled and come to life.

Ripe is a place where like-minded people can come together, share their love for sustainability and vintage fashion.

So welcome to a kind, beautiful community of vintage fashion lovers. I pledge to always provide funky, hand-picked, sexy pieces for you all. The kind of pieces that have to stop and have to ask “omg where’d you get that, that’s class!” .. Let’s create a sexy sustainable vibe for everyone to enjoy!
